With passion for Storytelling and translating complex issues into simple forms, Leyla works through a multi-scalar, multi-medium approach. She uses a wide range of data sets, data collection methods and visualization to deliver stories through Art. The outcome can be anything from city wide art strategies to standalone works of public art. Some of which are large-scale installations where geometries and forms reflect figures from specific data sets or digital installations visualizing the data.

Leyla’s work aims to incorporate community co-design and contribution. This can be seen in the form of collaborative component design, or through data generation and collection processes. She strives to blend elements of performance, sound, light and other forms of representation in her work to create immersive user experiences delivering social and environmental impact through storytelling and collective learning.
